Who I am
About Me:
My name is Kevin Madsen, and I am a Master Carpenter/Builder located in Epping, New Hampshire. From the time I was 15 years old, I have worked in the trade. I started out in a building tech program at the high school I attended and began working summers during my high school years for a contractor in town. Shortly after graduating, I completed two apprenticeships, where I gained valuable skills and knowledge. I worked in the residential field along the seacoast into my twenties. From there, I joined the Carpenters Union and worked on commercial sites from Maine to Boston.
I was fortunate enough to be a part of a commercial framing crew that built the 76-room addition to the famous Mt. Washington Hotel. I was trained and certified on many pieces of heavy equipment and every type of man lift they make. Every building was constructed with the help of cranes, where I acquired valuable skills in rigging and crane work. Additionally, I mastered the art of setting and installing many types of large construction materials, such as steel, giant wood beams, trusses, and much more.
After working in the commercial field for few years, I returned to the residential field but at a much higher end. I worked for a couple of well-respected builders in the Lakes region, where I practice most of my own business today. My time with them was incredible, and I took pride in the custom homes we built from literally the ground up, from foundation to finish.
Today, I incorporate nearly 20 years of experience into my business. When you hire me to build your home, you can trust not only in the craftsmanship but in every aspect being completed beyond expectation. My skills in carpentry and building, combined with expertise in equipment, rigging, and using cranes for building purposes, allow me to build with unparalleled ease and precision. I have a strong passion for carpentry and building, and I bring that passion and my enthusiasm to every job. I love working in the Lakes Region and being able to work with clients that are just as enthusiastic as me! Call, text, or email me today to get planning your next project!
